Mission Statement

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH, in Cecil County, Maryland, is a parish of the Diocese of Wilmington, Delaware. The parish includes the towns of Elkton and North East and the surrounding area.
WE THE PEOPLE of Immaculate Conception Parish are called together to celebrate joyfully our life in Jesus Christ.

WE LIVE OUR LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST:

by gathering for prayer to give praise to God;
by seeking to deepen our understanding of the mystery of God through the celebration of the sacraments;
by striving to reach out to others;
and especially by serving the needs of the poor.
WE SHARE THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST:

by handing on through word and deed the faith that was given to us;
by welcoming others to our community of faith;
by offering mutual support to one another in facing the challenges of everyday life;
by working together with other Christian churches and with civic organizations for the good of all.
WE DO ALL THIS: IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
