Immaculate Heart CDC (IHCDC) Our mission is to attempt to moderate the negative impact of isolation and poverty often faced by rural under-served, disadvantaged, low-income populations. Our goals, scope and objectives are driven by the needs of the community, People living in George County struggle both economically and socially due to lack of jobs, affordable housing, low wealth and substandard living conditions. Immaculate Heart CDC Inc. is committed to continue its efforts in seeking resources, services, programs and solutions to assist in stabilizing the lives and providing resources and services for the people of George County and counties noted that were affected by Hurricanes Rita and Katrina and to raise the economic welfare, educational and social levels of people that live in rural George county and surrounding communities. IHCDC received grant funding from Mississippi Case Management Consortium in 2008 which allowed us to successfully provide case management services for over 536 cases throughout George, Jackson, Hancock, Stone, Greene, Harrison, Perry, and Kemper Counties, Mississippi.
