Oue Mission:
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God; that is was uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit; that it is completely trustworthy; and that it is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and that He is true God and true man (Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:35, John 1:1,2,14; John 12:45; John 14:9).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and all sufficient Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
We believe in the Person of the Holy Spirit who came forth from God to convict the world of sin; of righteousness and of judgment; and to regenerate, sanctify and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ. He also empowers believers to carry out the Great Commission (John 16:7-11; Matthew 28:19,29; Acts 1:8).
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and that he sinned and thereby incurred spiritual death (Genesis 1:25; 3:3).
We believe in the vicarious death of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sins; in the resurrection of His body, His Ascension into heaven, and His personal and visible return to earth (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18).
We believe that salvation is the gift of God and is received and experienced only through personal faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8, 9, Acts 16:31, 1 John 5:11-13).
We believe that baptism is the immersion of a believer in water, in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:13-17; Acts 2:38, 8:36-39), and that the Lord's Supper commemorates the death of Christ until He comes again (Matthew 26:17-30, 1 Corinthians 11:17-34).
We believe that each local church has the right to be independent and autonomous and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority ( Acts 6:2-3; Acts 4:18-20; 2 Corinthians 8:19).
