OUR HISTORY
Independent Bible Presbyterian Church began in 1968, when a small group of Christians gathered to establish a church which would be biblical, evangelistic, and separated from compromising church councils.
From 1968 to 1973, the Bible Presbyterian Church of McDonald was affiliated with the Bible Presbyterian denomination, which gave much support and direction during those early years. In 1973, however, the congregation decided to withdraw from the denomination and to remain an independent church.
As a part of the Body of Christ, the congregation recognizes that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church and that all Christians are members of one body. We are committed by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ; we are committed to fellowship in the church of Christ; and we are committed to the preaching and teaching of the gospel of Christ.
