In 1977 a group of business owners began meeting to promote their businesses and to encourage tourism to the town. The Town of Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce was officially born in 1988 and thrives today. The board of directors meets monthly with two general membership meetings per year.

The Town of Indian Lake is comprised of Blue Mountain Lake, Sabael and the hamlet of Indian Lake. The Visitor Welcome Center is located on Route 28 in the hamlet of Indian Lake and offers information on lodging, eateries, shopping, museums, outdoor activities and much more! The office is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8 AM to 4 PM unless posted differently.
