Mission :
All of the Industrial Independent School District students will be taught a uniform curriculum based on state and District adopted courses of study. The district has high expectations of its students and declares its efforts and resources to assure that each student will learn and will be a contributing responsible member of an ever-changing society.
Goals:
The students in Industrial ISD will demonstrate exemplary performance in: the reading writing of English Language Arts, the understanding of mathematics, the understanding of science, and the understanding of social studies. Parents will be full partners with educators in the education of their children. According to No Child Left Behind (NCLB), students will be encouraged and challenged by the year 2013-2014 to meet their full educational potential in Mathematics. Students will be encouraged and challenged to meet their full educational potential in Science. According to No Child Left Behind (NCLB), students will be encouraged and challenged by the year 2013-2014 to meet their full potential in Reading. According to No Child Left Behind (NCLB), students will be encouraged and challenged by the year 2013-12014 to meet their full educational potential in English Language Arts.Students will be encouaged and challenged to meet their full potential in Writing. Students will be encouraged and challenged to meet their full potential in Social Studies.
According to No Child Left Behind (NCLB) and through enhanced dropout prevention efforts, by the year 2013-2014, all students will remain in school until they graduate from and obtain a high school diploma.

A well-balanced and appropriate curriculum will be provided to all students in all subjects areas. According to No Child Left Behind (NCLB), all students will be taught by qualified and highly effective personnel who will be recruited, developed, and retained. The State’s students will demonstrate exemplary performance in comparison to national and international standards. According to No Child Left Behind (NCLB), by the year 2013-2014, all students and school campuses will maintain a safe and disciplined environment conducive to student learning. Educators will keep abreast of the development of creative and innovative techniques in instruction and administration using those techniques as appropriate to improve student learning. Technology will be implemented and used to increase the effectiveness of student learning, instructional management, staff development and administration.
