About Us:
The students in the Iola-Scandinavia School District attend school in two buildings: one building houses students in 4K-Grade 6 and the other houses students in grades 7-12. Both schools feature multiple computer labs with up-to-date technology. In 2000 the community built an addition that included a Community Fitness and Aquatic Center that is owned and operated by the school district.
In the high school, grades 9-12, there is one computer for every student. Students have access to courses from other high schools, technical colleges, and universities via The Embarrass River Valley Instructional Network Group (ERVING). The school district has a school forest with great potential for educational opportunities to be experienced by our students.
The Iola-Scandinavia School District covers approximately 134 square miles of Waupaca and Portage Counties. It has a district-wide population of 3,500. It is located approximately 14 miles north of Waupaca, 20 miles east of Stevens Point, and 40 miles west of Appleton.
