Located in rural west Etowah County, Ivalee Elementary School has a school population of two hundred twenty-five students in grades K-6 with a faculty and staff of thirty-one. Designated a Title I School in 1996, the school (built in 1949) was expanded in 1998 to twice its size with the addition of a gym, cafeteria, five classrooms, and a school office.
Ivalee School has a unique learning environment with an individualized and comprehensive curriculum a professional staff focused on meeting student needs. The staff is known for its willingness to change and incorporate new ideas. Student success and achievement have been a direct result.
