Jackson County Health Department provides public health services for disease prevention, health promotion and protection of the environment.

Vision Statement:

The population in Eastern Jackson County will practice preventative behaviors that there are appropriate, have accessible public health services, with adequate staffing and resources and the citizens will be knowledgeable and proactive about public health and public health policy.
