Jackson Park Baptist Church was born out of a tent revival meeting in July of 1961.

A small group of people met on a vacant lot located at 2500 South Walnut Street in Muncie Indiana.

This Revival Meeting then turned into a Thursday night prayer services.

Later in the month of July they began having Sunday School.

In October of 1961 they constituted as a Church.

A parcel of ground was purchased, and in 1967 the first building was built.

Since then three other addition have been added to the original building, as well as numerous other remodeling projects.

Jackson Park is located in Delaware County just right outside of the city limits of Muncie Indiana.
