Mission

The mission of the Mountain Empire Unified School District (MEUSD) and Clover Flat/Jacumba Compact is to prepare students to be successful and productive community members. We will do this by coordinating all the resources available to nurture the emotional, physical, and academic growth of each student in our diverse population.

About Us

Jacumba Elementary School is part of the Clover Flat/Jacumba Compact. Students in grades K and 1 from the two communities of Boulevard and Jacumba, are now located at Jacumba.

Jacumba Elementary School is located approximately seventy-five miles east of San Diego, California, and is one of six elementary schools in the Mountain Empire Unified School District. Jacumba is a small school with a population of approximately 50 students in grades K-2. The school has three recently renovated classrooms, and a relocateable that houses our offices. Our school has a Before and After School program housed in a relocateable building. Our school staff is made-up of one Principal for the Clover Flat/Jacumba Compact, three certificated regular education teachers, two part-time aides, and a part-time lunch person. The District offers speech services, a part-time nurse, occupational therapist, counseling services, and Special Education services. The three teachers team teach in order to maximize differentiation of instruction.
