Jane Long Elementary is one of three Brazosport Independent School District elementary schools located in Freeport. Approximately 640 students are enrolled in grades Early Childhood through Fourth. Jane Long also offers Bilingual Education in kindergarten through third grade. The school's colors are red, white, and blue and our mascot is the marlin. Our motto is "Voyage to Excellence".

Jane Long offers a variety of educational programs that include Accelerated Reader, a Computer Lab, Content Mastery, Title 1, Primary Basic Skills, Creative Education Institute Reading and an Extended Day Program.
