The Laidlaw educational community is comprised of students, parents, teachers, administrators and support staff. We work together as a team in order to develop an educational experience to enrich the lives of all students attending Laidlaw. Our goal is to make each school year a fulfilling and successful one for each child at Laidlaw School. We look forward to working together to make the 2005-2006 school year an outstanding one for our students and fulfill our school theme "I can make the Difference!".
We believe that every person who interacts with young people has the potential to help shape their values and character. As a community of educators and parents, we can support the development of our children's character by incorporating terminology into our daily language which reflects the six pillars of character. The Six Pillars of Character are:
Trust Worthiness
Respect
Responsibility
Caring
Fairness
Citizenship
