Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy through volunteer-led, hands-on activities that reinforce the concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. We are a non profit organization that has been in Wisconsin for over 70 years. In partnership with business & educators, Junior Achievement (JA) brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential and preparing them for the world of work.
JA is seeking a volunteer to faciltate their JA It's My Future program at Algoma Middle School. This program provides practical information about preparing for the working world while still in middle school. This volunteer opportunity requires one 80 minute training session, and six 45 minute visits to the classroom. The start date is the first week of September, the class time is 2:03-2:55pm. The volunteer and the teacher set the schedule for the volunteer's visits. All hands on activites and materials are provided by JA.
