Our school-wide focus for the school year is to improve vocabulary building skills and math problem-solving fluency. The theme is “Education Opens the Treasures of Our World.” We challenge each student to meet or exceed grade level standards in all curricular areas. Our comprehensive program includes developing positive character traits and building a strong, safe, and caring community. We offer:

- A collaborative model for Special Education and Full Inclusion in which all students have access to the core curriculum
- An ELL Cluster school designation which supports additional Spanish speaking personnel
- An inviting library staffed by a qualified library clerk
- An articulated technology plan for increased integration of technology in all classrooms
- An involved PTA, ELAC, School Site Council, and Student Council
- “Arts Attack” art program for all grades
