The Kaua'i Music Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2002.

Our Mission: to embody the Aloha spirit through music by developing, supporting, sharing, and promoting education and collaboration among musicians and music professionals from local, mainland, and international music communities.

We accomplish our mission through a series of educational, networking, and showcase events held throughout the year, culminating in KMF Presents: The Hawai'i Songwriting Festival held in June.

In addition to the annual songwriter conference and concert series, the KMF organizes and hosts other educational, networking, and showcase events throughout the year. These include:

 - KMF Songwriter Search - annual songwriting contest with the winner getting free attendance to the annual KMF Songwriter Conference

 - KMF Songwriter Showcases - to showcase the talents of upcoming new singer/songwriters at various venues around the country
