The building on the corner of Third and Vine Streets was once the Kimmswick Bible Church. It has now become the headquarters of the Kimmswick Historical Society.
Its spacious hall and roomy interior serve the society well for its educational and preservation activities, and the monthly meetings of the Society on the first Monday of every month at 7pm. Everyone is welcom to attend.
In October of 1997, a museum was opened in an addition to the original church building. A collection of Kimmswick memorabilia is displayed in rotating exhibits of historical pictures, artifacts and maps.
A walking or driving tour guide book of the town of Kimmswick, four blocks by four blocks, may be purchased at the museum for $5.00. A slide show and guided tour of the town is also available for groups of 15 or more
