Kingston Elementary School is ready to “Dive Into Learning” as our second and third graders begin the 2005-2006 school year. Kingston Elementary strives to provide students with an instructional program incorporating best practices in reading/writing, math, science and social studies. We are proud that our ISAT scores, given to our 3rd graders, exceeded the requirements for meeting Adequate Yearly Progress.

We are especially excited that the new wing of the building was completed and ready for teachers to get their classrooms ‘up and running’ for the first day of school. The new wing includes five classrooms, boys and girls bathrooms, a staff bathroom, a conference room and a large attic storage area. The classrooms feature the Lightspeed Audio System that amplifies and clarifies the teacher’s voice helping all students to focus on the teacher during direct instruction. Now all homerooms at Kingston Elementary have an audio system for the benefit of all students.
