Founded in 1915 in Detroit and with headquarters now in Indianapolis, Kiwanis International is a thriving organization of service- and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world. More than 600,000 Kiwanis-family members in 96 countries make their mark by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling their resources to address worldwide issues. Through these efforts, Kiwanis International truly is "Serving the Children of the World."

Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization in over 80 nations. The major emphasis is Serving The Children of The World.

Our local Kiwanis club picks our own service projects that we feel need our attention. We are all local people that volunteer our time and talents to make our community a better place to live. We, like you, are busy with making a living, church, family, and many other activities. We, however, have found that Kiwanis gives us not only a chance to give back to our community in a meaningful way, but we enjoy the fellowship, networking, and fun aspects as well.
