History:
Our Club was formed by interested business leaders who recognized the importance of improving the business and residential community where more than 60,000 people work and reside. Since the club was organized on March 10, 1998, members have surveyed the business and residential communities to determine the specific needs where volunteer services could be effectively utilized. Since many of the perceived needs required financing, the club organized several fund raising projects. All funds raised from the public are used for charitable purposes. These funds are kept separate from the administrative funds used to operate the club. The original name "Lee's Summit Noontime" was changed to "Lee's Summit Achievers" on October 1, 2004.
