About Us:

The Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown was organized in August 1935, and is part of the 235,000 members of Kiwanis International.  Kiwanis International is a thriving organization of service and community-minded men and women who support children and young adults around the world.  More than 8,000 clubs in more than 86 countries make their mark by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling their resources to address worldwide issues.  Through these efforts, Kiwanis International truly is “Serving the Children of the World.”

Mission:

The principle core of the Kiwanis mission is the belief that the most effective way to enhance a community, is to enhance it children.  When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and success, great things happen

The Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown created the Reisterstown Kiwanis Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation designed to raise funds to support our various service projects.  The funds are from individual or business donations, grants obtained from local or national organizations and local fundraising events like our Annual Oyster and Shrimp Feast in January, our Annual Golf Tournament in June, making and selling funnel cakes at community fairs, festivals and carnivals throughout the summer months and our Crab Feast in August.

Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
