Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
The principle core of the Kiwanis mission is the belief that the most effective way to enhance a community is to enhance its children. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, great things will happen.
The Kiwanis Club of Sedona-Bell Rock was founded in 1981 and has been a part of the community ever since. From building local parks, to providing childhood vaccines, scholarships, donating to local youth teams & Boys & Girls Club, sponsoring Camp Kiwanis, supporting Key Club at Sedona Red Rock High School, & Builder's Clubs at the Elementary Schools (to teach students leadership skills), as well as donating time & money to many other local organizations & community needs.
Any community need can become a Kiwanis service project, especially if the need involves children, who should have the help and the right to lead healthy, successful lives. We believe that helping a child helps the world.
All visitors and interested new members are invited to our meetings. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday morning of each month for a Breakfast Meeting at 7:30 a.m. for one hour at Shugrue's Hillside Grill on Hwy. 179 in the Hillside Shops, Sedona.
Please join us if you have interest in finding out more about Kiwanis International or our local Kiwanis Club. We are always looking for new members!
