About Us

The Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks is part of Kiwanis International, a global community service organization with more than 600,000 members.  Kiwanis was founded in 1915 by a group of businessmen in Detroit, Michigan, and now has clubs in nearly 80 countries.  The worldwide mission of Kiwanis is to serve children, and the focus of many service projects and fund-raising activities our Club undertakes is to support local and international organizations that directly serve children.  The Thousand Oaks Club has 95 members – volunteers blending community service and friendship.  Everyone has the opportunity to serve within their capabilities and time available.  Many hands make light work, and our service projects are always well-staffed by members.  Please visit www.kiwanis.org to learn more about Kiwanis International.

Meeting Place

The Thousand Oaks Kiwanis meets every Wednesday morning at the Los Robles Greens, 299 S. Moorpark Rd.  It’s a breakfast meeting.
