Mission :

As a focal point of the community, the Kneeland School District is committed to offering each child a quality education founded on the values exemplified in rural schools: a close bond among staff, students, parents, and community; and an indivdualized program meeting the varying needs of the students.

Vision :

Working in partnership, the School Board, staff, parents, and community will:

- Provide a balanced curriculum to help the students achieve grade level expectancies and to be academically prepared for an ever changing world.

- Promote students social responsibility, a respect for others, and a sense of community.

- Assist students to develop an interest and pride in their quality of work and the self-confidence to be productive citizens and life-long learners.

- Maintain a safe, functional and energy efficient facility reaching out to make the community an integral part of-the educational experience.

- Maintain a balanced budget supporting both curricular and staffing goals, while maintaining an adequate reserve.
