Koinonia Church was founded in 1977 by David Tolladay. Pastor David established a firm foundation of solid Biblical teaching and wholehearted praise and worship. The church outgrew its small auditorium and constructed a larger facility in 1985.
In 1992, Blake Cromwell became the Senior Pastor. As attendance began to rise, multiple services and staff were added to accommodate the growth. In addition to a large volunteer force, the daily workload is shared by several full-time pastors and ministry leaders, administrators, and support staff.
Pastor Blake retired in 2003 and Tim Howard took the direction of the church. Pastor Tim has over twenty-eight years of experience in a large church setting and is prepared to lead KCF into the future.
On Christmas Eve 2005, KCF moved into a new 32,000 square foot building on our new campus located on the western edge of Hanford immediately off of 198.
Koinonia is located in Hanford, California, a growing city of approximately 50,000 people. Hanford is the residential, industrial, and commercial center of Kings County. Located near the center of the San Joaquin Valley, Hanford is 30 miles southwest of Fresno.
