In March, 2006 we completed the inaugural season of the La Quinta PlayHouse. Every exciting play starred professional actors, and all performances were critically acclaimed. Last season we entertained you in a wonderful tent in Old Town, La Quinta. You will eventually find us, however, in a state of the art Theatre in La Quinta. It has been and will continue to be an exciting journey, and we want you along for the ride.

The PlayHouse started with a radio version of A Christmas Carol at the La Quinta Resort in December, 2004 (thank you Resort,) followed by a month of the well-received ART in Old Town in May, 2005. (Thank you Wells Marvin.) Because of the overwhelming demand of much of Coachella Valley's theatre patrons, and with the generous support of the City of La Quinta, the La Quinta PlayHouse members and many corporate and private sponsors, we were able to proceed with the 5-play season which ran from October, 2005 through March, 2006. These plays were: The Fantasticks; A Christmas Carol; Kimberly Akimbo; Breaking Legs; and Stones in His Pockets.

We have just finalized our plans for the 2006-2007 season. We have four outstanding comedies in store for you!! Our tent will be in a new location this season due to the generosity of Deborah and Thomas Berg, who are lending us their land on Calle Estado, in the wonderful village of La Quinta.
