Purpose Statement: “A Community On Mission”

Located in “Lahaina Town,” the heart of West Maui, Lahaina Baptist Mission began its ministry in 1953. On October 7, 1973, ¨this mission was constituted as Lahaina Baptist Church (associated with the Southern Baptist Convention, “SBC”). In keeping with our founding, the purpose of the church is “A Community On Mission.” We carry out this purpose through a Mission Statement:

“To Love, Lead & Launch Disciples of Jesus Christ.”

This mission is intentionally applied within each of our church ministries: Children; Youth; Twenty and Thirty-Somethings; Singles; Family; Marriage; Men; Women; Leadership Development; Training; Education; Community Outreach; Missions; Worship; Small Groups; Biblical Counseling & Biblical Teaching.
