About Us:
Lakeshore Technical College (LTC) is a leading provider of technical education offering 89 career programs including associate degrees, technical diplomas, technical certificates, and apprenticeship programs. In addition, LTC offers distance learning, customized training to business and industry, and continuing education opportunities.
Serving a 200,500-resident population in east central Wisconsin, LTC operates a main campus in Cleveland; additional learning sites at LTC Manitowoc and LTC Sheboygan; community education centers at area high schools in Kiel, Mishicot, Plymouth, Random Lake, Reedsville, and Two Rivers; and 33 distance learning sites.
LTC’s mission is to enrich lives and strengthen the economy by preparing a workforce that is skilled, diverse and flexible. On average, 73% of LTC graduates work in the LTC District, which measures approximately 1,200 square miles, covering all of Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties as well as parts of Calumet and Ozaukee Counties. Lake Michigan borders the entire eastern edge of the district. The population in the Lakeshore district is 200,000 with the majority of residents living in Sheboygan or Manitowoc Counties. It is primarily rural, with the cities of Manitowoc (pop. 34,727) and Sheboygan (pop. 50,741) being the two largest urban areas.
LTC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
