Lakeside Christian Church
Our History
Lakeside first began by meeting in Crescent Springs Elementary School in September, 1967. Seventy-two people attended the first service. In October of 1970, Lakeside called John Russell to be their Senior Minister. John is a 1968 graduate of Cincinnati Bible College & Seminary. He and his wife, Susan, have seen our congregation grow from a small country church to a large influential member of the Northern Kentucky community.
Having celebrated several decades in existence as a church, Lakeside has enjoyed tremendous blessings through God. Lakeside now serves nearly 2,500 members and averages over 1,700 worshippers weekly. Our church has experienced three building expansions, including our current Worship Center with seating capacity of 1,400.
With multiple services, multiple staff, an Activity Center, and diverse programming, our prayer is that we meet the needs of you and your family.
Our Purpose
Our Purpose is to exalt God and lovingly bring people into a saving, deepening, and serving personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We embrace families in an atmosphere of love and affirmation while developing fully devoted disciples who will influence the world for Christ.
