The Lander Art Center is a nonprofit organization located in beautiful Lander, Wyoming. We are a membership-based organization relying on the involvement and financial support of our community.
Our mission is to engage our community's young people and adults in visual arts through quality exhibitions and learning opportunities that will support a strong arts community in Fremont County.
In our gallery-space, varied art exhibitions of local, regional and national artists change on a six-week basis totaling eight exhibitions per year.
In addition, the Lander Art Center organizes one summer and one winter arts and craft fair that highlights local and regional artist's art ad crafts.
In our classroom, we offer classes for youth of all ages and adults from amateur through professional. Classes are offered at various times, depending on the season, student age, and subject matter in a wide range of mediums.
During the summer, we offer week-long youth classes through our Summer Of Arts Program (SOAP). Ceramics, metals and jewelry, drawing, sculpture, and fiber arts are a few of the topics covered.
