The mission of C.D. Landolt Elementary is to provide our diverse community of learners an individualized and challenging education in a positive environment. With the help of the home-school-community connection we will launch the leaders of tomorrow.
C. D. Landolt Elementary was named after Casper D. “Cap” Landolt when it was opened in August of 1979. C.D. Landolt was Superintendent of Clear Creek I.S.D. from 1953 to 1964. He was very instrumental in acquiring land that many of Clear Creek’s schools are located on today.
The land that C.D. Landolt Elementary was built on used to be cattle ranching land. Today a beautiful school exists that has changed over the years. Several years ago, C.D. Landolt Elementary applied for and received a school reform grant.
The pod areas for each grade level are beautifully painted and decorated. Lifelong Guideline and Skills, such as active listening, truthfulness, and trustworthiness, are taught and reinforced in the school.
Landolt promotes a school setting that provides a warm, trusting and educational environment to build lifelong learners and good citizens
