About Us :

LeRoy is located in Central Illinois, approximately 30 minutes from Champaign and 20 minutes from Bloomington.  Interstate 74, and State Highways 150 & 136 all converge in LeRoy so there is easy access to all parts of our state.  We are a fairly self-sustaining community with a pharmacy, grocery store, hardware store, several restaraunts, and a new medical center.

As a school district, we currently have elementary enrollment of about 460 students, a junior high enrollment of about 120 students, and a high school enrollment of about 220 students.  We have a comprehensive curriculum within our building and have built a cooperative relationship with Parkland College.  Our relationship with Parkland allows many of our students to graduacte from LeRoy HIgh School with 12 + hours of college credit.  We have also started an innovative Senior Internship prgram that offers many of our students the opportunity for some real worl experience.

The completion of an eight million dollar building addition in 2006 replaced our vintage 1920 High School.
