Let's Laugh Today in Franklin

Linda and Bill Hamaker, Walpole residents and Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers lead a laughter yoga session on the fourth Monday of every month at the First Universalist Society in Franklin, 262 Chestnut Street, Franklin, 02038.

Laughter sessions are designed to bring the health benefits of laughter to your life!

Come and enjoy this new exercise of simulated laughter combined with gentle breathing techniques known as laughter yoga. There are no contortions and no need for any special equipment. Anybody can do it. It is a body-mind approach to health and wellness. When you pretend to laugh or act happy, your body produces the same happiness chemicals.

Laughter Clubs are non-profit, non-political and non-religious. They are designed to promote fun, laughter, peace and friendship in the community. There are now more than 6.000 laughter clubs in 65 countries and 500 in the United States.  We are lucky enough to have one right in our area! There is a $5 donation per person with a $10 maximum per family that will go towards the operating costs.  Laughing is dehydrating so please bring your water. No need to attend regularly. If you can breathe and laugh, you can do laughter yoga! More information and future dates are on:  www.letslaughtoday.com
