Lolo Community Church is the "flagship" of the Rocky Mountain Bible Mission. Beginning as a Sunday School in the 1950s, an adult Bible study was begun by Gale and Elsie Fister and four of their eventually six children soon after their arrival in Montana in 1958. Once the study grew too large to meet in a home, Sunday evening worship services accommodated the Fisters' itinerant preaching schedule. Gale and Elsie began serving in Lolo full-time in 1975. Don and Dale Oberg along with their children Heather, Eric, Kyle, Stephanie and David came to Lolo in 1991 to serve as associate pastor. After many years of encouraging service, the Obergs retired from ministry in 2004 in order to spend more time with family
Many people from as far away as Bonner, Stevensville and Frenchtown attend Sunday services in Lolo. "Kids come first" is often heard when Lolo ministry is discussed, and the church enthusiastically engages in camp, VBS, AWANA, Sunday School and junior and senior high youth groups. Adult ministries include numerous home Bible studies, an active singles group, auto-help program, senior citizen's outreach, and an annual mission conference.
In January of 2004, the congregation called Jeff Boschmann as the Senior Pastor. Gale Fister became the Pastor Emeritus.
