About Us:

Lompoc First Christian Church is a Disciples of Christ church that was first started in 1959 by local citizens looking for a loving, independent approach to worship. Disciples of Christ churches strive to be churches of unity in diversity, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. Our church is open to believers of all faiths who wish to strengthen their understanding of God's role in their lives and the teachings of Jesus Christ.  All are welcome!

First Christian Church has withstood many changes in our community over the years.  The church has thrived and struggled under the population changes driven by the ever changing federal budget for nearby Vandenberg Air Force Base, home to the Western Test Range and its regular space launch activities.  

We are presently served by Pastor Melanie Tucker, who brings a strong mix of family focused love and a deeply spiritual relationship with God.
