Our school is steeped in tradition and has been an integral part of the Lovettsville community since 1974 when the doors first opened. Although the school has grown in size, both physically and with regard to student enrollment, we strive to maintain that “small-town feel” with our strong spirit of volunteerism and focus on events that bring the community together. We invite you to browse through our site to learn more about our school, the staff, projects and activities, as well as opportunities to become involved.
Our mission at Lovettsville is to work collaboratively to empower students to become creators, collaborators, critical thinkers, communicators, and contributors. We believe children learn best in an environment in which they feel connected to teachers and other staff as well as their peers. Our school provides a positive and friendly climate that encourages mutual respect and acceptance.
We are extremely fortunate to be part of a community that values our school and supports the goals we have established. The entire Lovettsville community – town leaders, businesses, churches and local service organizations – offer countless services to our students, teachers, and school families. Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) works closely with our staff to enhance our instructional and aesthetic programs through funding, coordination of volunteers, and the provision of supportive programs and activities. Lovettsville students and staff benefit from a strong volunteer network, which provides daily support to learning and school programs.
We are proud of our school and remain committed to providing all students with opportunities to succeed and develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
