Lutherville Laboratory for Science, Mathematics and Communications is a school where children acquire knowledge through active involvement in the learning process. It is our responsibility to foster that learning for all children and to challenge every student to pursue excellence. Therefore, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and caring educators present a "Hands-on, Minds-on" approach where students are encouraged to inquire, experiment and take risks while participating in an integrated curriculum supported by technology.

Individual needs are met in a safe environment characterized by respect for differences so that our students become active and productive members of a democratic and multicultural society. United as a community of learners, individuals recognize that learning and an appreciation of the Arts is a lifelong pursuit.

In partnership with parents and the community, Lutherville Lab fosters the development of the "whole child" in all areas--intellectual, moral, social, emotional and physical. Our ultimate goal is that boys and girls will take their place in the global community as creative, respectful and responsible citizens.
