Maitland Soccer Club is dedicated to developing players, first in character, then teamwork, skill, and ability. Winning is important and encouraged, however, player development (character, team, and individual) is most important. Winning is usually accomplished by emphasis on character, team, and individual development through coaching leadership, proper skill and team instruction at practice, and by giving players the opportunity to put it into play at games.

Soccer is for the player, to learn about and get good at playing it, along with learning to love this beautiful game.
