MAMSA is a group of dedicated volunteer residents and business owners interested in revitalizing Mount Airy's historic downtown business district. MAMSA's goal is to establish Downtown as a gathering place and center of community life; to promote commerce for locally owned and operated businesses; to promote cultural events for residents and visitors; and to create a small town atmosphere, with modern amenities, that is easily accessible to those traveling by car and on foot. MAMSA plans and coordinates many of the popular town events and festivities.
