Marlborough Country Club is a private golf course, that accomodates public play on Mondays and Tuesdays and offers a perfect venue for your corporate or charity functions. As home to Frank Vana, Jr., Massachusetts Amateur of the Decade and the 2007 Richard D. Haskell MGA Player of the Year, our golf course has perfectly manicured fairways and greens that are fast and challenging.
The Marlborough Country Club has enjoyed a rich history. MCC opened in 1922 with an inaugural four-ball match between U.S. Open Champion, Francis Ouimet and his partner Larry Paton who defeated Ed Childs of Lexington and Parker Schofield of Albermarle, 2 and 1. Ouimet shot 78. MCC later became one of the inaugural hosts of the PGA Senior Tour from 1981 through 1983. Senior tour champions included Don January, Arnold Palmer and Bob Goalby. Bob Goalby said the 12th hole at Marlborough Country Club was on his list of one of the best holes he has ever played.
Our newly renovated club house offering panoramic views of the 10th and 18th holes. Our dining room, players lounge, renovated function room and patio room offer perfect venues for your business meeting, corporate outing, charity event, civic function, or special occasion.
