The people who are Memorial Baptist Church celebrated the 25th anniversary in July, 1993 of their constitution as a church on July 14, 1968, in Buies Creek School. One hundred, eleven people came together to begin the fellowship of Christians which today numbers 387 members. The school was our home until the present building, only partially completed, was dedicated on May 2, 1971. For several years the members labored to landscape the grounds and finish the interior. A service of thanksgiving and stewardship on January 18, 1987, marked the final payment on the building indebtedness. We are now engaged in a study of our future needs in programs, staff, and facilities.

Fellowship is a thread running through all our activities. We enjoy eating together regularly on Wednesday evenings and on special occasions. Intergenerational recreation, sports, music, and study keep us in touch with the whole church family.

Memorial Church members extend a welcome to all who would join us in worshipping God and in serving others.
