The Mercer County Park Commission has more than 10,000 acres of parks, facilities and open space, with something for everyone to enjoy. Visit our many parks and facilities throughout Mercer County.

  • Mercer County Park - encompasses over 2,500 acres covering areas of the Townships of West Windsor, Hamilton and Lawrence. The Park has year-round facilities for all ages and includes both active and passive recreational opportunities.

  • Mercer County Park Marina - consists of a beautiful lakeside boathouse, FREE boat ramp for launching small boats, 1,000 square feet of docks and offers kayak, row and pedal boat rentals. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day.

  • Mercer County Park Tennis Center - has a 6-court indoor facility and 22 lighted outdoor courts. Open year round.

  • Mercer County Park Ice Skating Center - open 7 days a week to the public during operating season, The rink offers skate rentals; hockey and figure skates, general public skating sessions, birthday parties, private parties and ice time for hockey games & practices.

  • Mercer County Park Athletic Fields - all fields are available for rental; softball, baseball, disc golf, soccer, flag football, lacrosse, volleyball, cross country, basketball, bike and running trails and a world class crew course on Mercer Lake.

  • Mercer County Park Festival Grounds - encompasses over 200,000 square feet of venue space with 2,200 square foot state-of-the-art performing arts stage. Some great events have visited the Festival Grounds: Italian and Irish American Festivals, Indo American Fair, Sping & Fall Food Truck Fiestas, Lee Brice, Eric Paslay, The Barenaked Ladies, R5, Piano Men: A Tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel, Tramps Like Us: A Bruce Springsteen Tribute, The Sensational Soul Cruisers, Madeline Smith, Gypsy Wisdom, Burnt Sienna, The Ernie White Band and many, many more.

  • Mercer Meadows - encompasses over 1,600 acres, divided among five separate districts. The Park has miles of trails providing visitors and their families with scenic walking and biking routes through the meadows and woodlands. Some great spots in Mercer Meadows include: The Dog Park, Pole Farm Historical Exhibit, and beautiful Rosedale Lake in Rosedale Park.

  • Mercer Meadows Equestrian Center - features 31 stalls, indoor and outdoor rings, two grooming stalls, two tack rooms, for wash stalls, and eleven horse pastures. Lessons, pony parties, summer camps, horse shows, clinics and seasonal events are offered to visitors.

  • Baldpate Mountain - has over 12 miles of marked trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and trail running. A walk to the grassy summit, the highest point in Mercer County, offers a spectacular view of the Delaware River and the City of Trenton.

  • Howell Living History Farm - exists in its rural setting as both an example of farming as it was practiced in New Jersey in the period of 1890-1910 and as a landscape where one can find the remnants of over 250 years of farming practice and life. Open year round for programming.

  • Tulpehaking Nature Center - located in Hamilton, it's a great location for the nature lover and is the primary access and interpretive hub for the Abbott Marshlands, providing programs and exhibits that encourage visitors to explore and discover the many cultural, historic, and natural resources of the Abbott Marshlands and John A. Roebling Park.

  • Picnic Areas - are a great venue for families and companies to host an event through our parks system. Picnic Areas for rent are: Mercer County Park East and West Picnic Areas, Valley Road Picnic Area, Princeton Country Club Picnic Area and Rosedale Park Picnic Area.

  • Golf Courses - our public golf courses offer a variety of settings for every taste and style. From tree-lined courses to open green spaces and smooth rolling greens, the courses at Mercer Oaks (West and East) Mountain View and Princeton Country Club are some of the best.

  • Arm & Hammer Park - home to the Trenton Thunder a Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. A great, family-friendly place for a baseball game.

  • South Riverwalk Park - sits above the Route 29 tunnel and has picturesque views of the Delaware River and Waterfront Park.

  • Millyard Park - located in the City of Trenton this park provides an ideal setting for street fairs, small concerts and art fairs and is a favorite lunch stop for area business offices.

  • Mercer County Wildlife Center - is a state and federally licensed facility that cares for injured, ill and displaced native wildlife. Open year round.
