One in 110 children are born with Autism. We cannot treat autism with pills but we can change a life of a child by providing that child with a FREE service dog. It's better than any pill in a bottle. Help us change the life of a dog and a child. Animals are matched and train to address specific disabilities
Service animals can be trained to meet needs of individuals with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) including Asperger's Syndrome, High and Low functioning Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Service dogs aid with communication disorders including apraxia and mental illnesses such as depression, phobias, and social anxiety disorder.
Summer camp and farm programs are designed to teach children and adults, with special needs, how to better relate with the world around them by interacting, caring for, and training animals.
Suitable animals are trained to be service, therapy, or companion animals for children, adults, and seniors with special needs. Autism service dogs, therapy dogs and horses, companion dogs are rescued from all over the United States.
Our sponsors include There's Hope! ©, America's Canine Academy, Inc., NUVET Labs, Inc., and private and public benefactors without whose help and assistance, we would never have seen our dream come to fruition.
The founder of Merlin's Kids named the organization for her special white Lipizzan stallion, whose magnificent stature and gentle, nurturing manner, changed many lives. His love of children and compassion for those in fear or in pain made him a truly unique horse. True, he was just a horse š to those who did not know him, but the power of animals to touch those in need, is well-documented and is recognized by many to give hope to the hopeless.
