Misssion:

To carry out the will of God, to obey him, to love as He loves, to do and say all that he speaks through us by his Spirit that He may get all the glory, honor and praise.

The Vission:

Around the early 90’s I asked God to give me the city of Mexia as Caleb did concerning the mountain in Joshua 14:12-14. In June, 1999 I was called by God to preach the Gospel and when I accepted He simultaneously God showed me in a vision First Baptist Church. During that time I was a member of a church in the city off North Hwy 14. The Holy Ghost separated me along with others from that Church in February, 2000. God spoke and said; Go and claim the land that I showed you and possess it. Later during the year 2000, we began holding meetings in the home of Deacon John & Sister Gloria Hackett. Members joined during that time and officers were elected. The work of the Lord towards the vision began. God said, "Re-open the doors of First Baptist Church, for I give it to you. (Ezekiel 22:30- And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.) I have been chosen by God to sit in the city at 304 North Denton Street as did Deborah under the palm tree in Judges Chapter 4 and to lead God’s people into the promises of God as did Joshua and Caleb. The Lord said the church will begin primarily with women and children with the men coming thereafter.
