Milk and Honey Farm CSA is run on part of a beautiful 25 acre property in Loudon, NH. We offer a copious box of vegetables each week during the summer growing season and a winter crop share which includes a great selection of winter hardy vegetables (root crops and some greens from our unheated greenhouse). Education in sustainable agricultural practices is very important to us so members are encouraged to visit the farm often and ask plenty of questions. We also recognize a responsibility to the overall well being of the community by sharing of foodstuffs and any other available resources with those in need. To that end, a minimum of 10% of all profits, and a substantial amount of excess produce are given back to the community in the form of charitable donations. We also offer a discount share program for those who would like to eat healthy but can not afford to. Highly nutritious food should be available to everyone. Here at Milk and Honey Farm we are entering into our third year as a CSA farm. We are located in Loudon, NH and are just wrapping up our second year as a certified organic producer. We started market gardening in 2006 and have sold at both the Concord and Manchester farmer's markets. Our second winter CSA is just about over and we are taking registrations for our 2011 summer CSA program. We also produce free-range eggs and poultry for sale at the farm and the concord farmer's market. This is a very exciting time for us and we look forward to partnering with you as a responsible alternative to grocery store prices and non-sustainable farming practices. Members of the community can support the farm by purchasing a share in our CSA and/or by volunteering a small amount of on-farm labor each month. What a wonderful way to get involved in the production of your own food!
