Other settlement areas in the township are Stricklerstown, and Millbach.
Millcreek Township is known as an agricultural area. The agricultural district consists of approximately half of the township. Farming is a very viable industry in the township because of the rich limestone soil. The South Mountain, which is the ecologically senstiving zoning district in Millcreek Township, is the major source of public water for Newmanstown as well as the surrounding communities of Richland, Robesonia, and Wernersville. The conservation and protection of this distric is extremely important.
