The Millstone River School has created a productive, enjoyable, and humanistic environment through the cooperative efforts of grade 4-5 students, parents, and staff. The staff focuses on individual needs, recognizes different learning styles, and employs a variety of teaching strategies.

The educational process of the Millstone River School strives to develop capable and self-confident human beings who in turn enrich a community enhanced by its cultural diversity. The staff takes pride in working with parents to guide the academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of students. Millstone River School strives to build on the child’s previously acquired skills and experiences, while attempting to develop increasing competencies. Students are encouraged to develop a sense of community by understanding and respecting themselves and others.
