Minisink Reformed Church
About us:
Founded in 1737, Minisink Reformed Church is the oldest congregation in Sussex County. We are located at 346 River Road (part of the Old Mine Road), at the northern end of the state. We serve the communities of Montague, NJ; Milford, PA; Port Jervis, NY; and other nearby towns. Our current church facility, which rests within the bounds of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, was built in 1898. Summer worship services, Vacation Bible School, and other events are held at the Church Pavilion, on Clove Rd., in Montague. Having served the Lord in the tri-state area for over 260 years, our mission is: In the name of Christ, to promote healing and reconciliation in our community, and to encourage personal relationships with Jesus Christ through Bible-based worship, education, example, and pastoral guidance. God being our helper, we will.
