The CSA season starts with spring crops such as greens, peas, chives and radishes and quickly becomes more abundant with summer squash, tomatoes, garlic, potatoes, green beans, cucumbers and more!
Members can expect all their favorite seasonal vegetables, some unique varieties and kitchen herbs as well. We include monthly email newsletters to keep members informed of happenings on the farm and recipes for new ideas on preparing the delicious vegetables.
At Monarch Farm, we specialize in growing heirloom vegetables; tomatoes, summer and winter squash, beets, carrots, onions, potatoes, a variety of cooking and fresh greens, green beans, leeks, sweet corn, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, garlic, melons, peas, culinary and medicinal herbs and flowers.
All produce is grown 'un-certified' organically, meaning, we meet and exceed organic certification standards but choose not to be certified.
CSA shares are available for the 2011 season. Beginning in June and ending in October, supporters will receive approximately 20 weeks worth of fresh vegetables. Please contact us for more information.
We also offer a line of finest quality natural skin care products; creams, scrubs, body mists, massage oils, lip balms, facial kits and salves.
