Monroe Elementary was built in 1951. It has gone through several additions and remodels since then. Currently, seven classrooms and and new administrative offices are being added.

Our current student enrollment is about 600 students, which is an increase of approximately 45 students over last year. The current projections show our enrollment will continue to grow. Our teacher to student ratio is 1:24 and 77% of our staff have a master's degree or higher. 55% of our staff have reading minors and 33% have reading endorsements.
